Is it really free? +
Yes, while we're in beta. No credit card, no trial expiry. We'll announce pricing well before we ever charge, and there will always be a free tier for tiny operators.
Do customers need to download anything? +
No. They scan the QR with their phone camera and it opens in the browser. No app store, no signup, no password.
What hardware do I need? +
Whatever phone or tablet you already have. The Staff Panel is a web page that stays awake on your screen. A cheap kitchen tablet on a counter mount is perfect.
What if the wifi drops? +
Both you and your customers need internet for the live queue. The board recovers automatically when you're back on — and we cache state so numbers don't reshuffle.
Can I rename Preparing / Ready? +
Not yet. It's on the list, along with multi-station boards (bar vs kitchen) and custom colours. Reply to your welcome email with what you need and we'll prioritise.
